Good Evening, Clough families, this is Mr. Thacker, with the weekly News and Notes for the week of May 23.
I think everyone had a great time at field day on Friday. We were very fortunate that the weather cooperated. Thanks to parent, Kristen Brown, and her committee for a very fun and successful event. Our 5th graders had a blast at their Luau as well. A big thank you to Ingrid York and Dawn Baker their committee for making Friday night such a fun event for the kids.
As you know, this is our last week for the school year. Thursday is the last day for students. There will be a school wide picnic that day and families are welcome to come eat with their children. Our 5th grade will have their annual “walk” to say goodbye and receive high fives from everyone at 10:45 and then lunch will begin.
On Monday, our 5th grade will take their field trip to Great American Ball Park. On Tuesday, our Kdg, will have a visit from the Museum Center on Wheels, here at school. On Wednesday, our 4th grade will go to Fort Ancient and our Kdg will have their Celebration Ceremony.
If you have not done so already, parents, please log into Infosnap, , and register your child or children. Doing so will enable us to schedule them into a class for next year. This is a new district wide program that requires all students to be registered no matter if they are new to the district or not.
Don’t forget to send your child with a lunch or lunch money as charges can no longer be accepted.
All school fees need to be paid by Thursday May 26th.
The script from this phone call can be viewed on our WEBSITE under Principal’s message!!
That’s all the announcements that I have for this evening. The staff and I look forward to seeing the students in the morning!!!!
