Winter Dance: Join us for some wintery fun at the Snowball Dance will be Friday, January 13 from 8-11pm. The dance will be Sadie Hawkins style (girls ask guys) and semi-formal. Dancing and light refreshments will be provided. Tickets will be $10 and on sale during exam week.
Polar Plunge for Special Olympics: We are seeking sponsors for students to jump and others outside of our club to join in to raise awareness of the cause. Link below:
French Club Info: French Club Christmas Celebration will be in 226 on Tuesday. Bring a gift to swap and a snack to share. Stop by 226 for details.
2017 Volleyball Meet and Greet: There will be a Volleyball Meet and Greet for any girls interested in trying out for volleyball in the Fall. December 11th @ 6:30 in Amelia PAC. Current 6-current 11th grade girls and their parents are invited and encouraged to attend this meeting. Meet the Head Varsity coach, Coach K and some of the new staff. Information will be handed out about spring and summer events and any questions about the program can be answered through this meeting.
Christmas Spirit Week: We will be having a Christmas Spirit Week from December 12-16!!! Get in the Holiday Spirit and participate!

Holiday Spectacular: Tickets for the Holiday Spectacular will be sold December 12th through the 16th. Tickets will be sold during all three lunches. Tickets are $2.00 or students may donate gloves or mittens for families in need. Students participating in the Look to Clermont are responsible for the glove and mitten drive.
Senior Cap and Gown Deadline: Seniors must order caps & gowns before Dec. 12th in order avoid paying a late fee. Make this a priority. Extra packets are in the office.
Immunization requirement: All students entering the 12th grade in the fall of 2017 are required to show proof of receiving a meningitis (MCV4) vaccine before attending school. The required immunization must have been administered after the 16th birthday. If you child has already received the required immunization, please have your child's physician fax verification to 753-2419. If you have any questions, please contact the health clinic assistant @ 947-7403.
Progressbook: If you look in the top right corner of the new website there is a link directly to Progressbook. With your encouragement, your child will continue to work hard and push themselves. The LAST Amelia High School yearbook is officially on sale! The 2016-2017 Amelia High School yearbooks will be switching from a spring delivery book to a fall delivery book. This means that students will receive their yearbook in September of 2017. This change will allow for the spring activities such as spring sports, Prom, the spring musical, and graduation to be included inside the book instead of in the form of a supplement. Seniors will have the option to either pick up their book at West Clermont High School next fall, or choose the delivery option when purchasing and their book will sent to the address provided (students in all grade levels have the option to use the delivery option as well). When using this option, please double check the address to be sure it is correct. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Calton at Calton_b@westcler.org. Java Night will be on February 24th. Mark your calendars NOW: In order to make this event a success, we need to making/selling Coasters to raise money to donate to IPM- Inter Parish Ministries who support Clermont County! The making of coasters will be hosted in Ziebold’s room- 142 on Tuesdays and Thursday's after school from 2:30-3:30 ending February 15th. Five weeks will be dedicated to making the coasters out of clay and the other five weeks will be dedicated to glazing the coasters. Any student or faculty member of AHS may join in to make/glaze a set of coasters to be sold in sets of 4 and 2 at the Java Night performance. Coaster designs will be of the following: Barons logo, WC Wolves logo, or a stamped design.
Commemorative Bricks for WCHS: The West Clermont Education Association is selling commemorative bricks for Amelia High School, Glen Este High School, and West Clermont High School. There are three different sizes of bricks to choose from. All of the bricks will be installed either at the main entrance or the stadium entrance at West Clermont High School in time for the grand opening in August 2017.
