Dear Brantner Elementary Families,
I am very excited to join the Brantner Cardinals as the new building principal! I have been an educator for the past 18 years, serving in the Forest Hills School District. I taught for eight years in a fifth-grade classroom, three years in a third-grade classroom, one year as the district elementary math specialist and have been the assistant principal and building case coordinator of special education services of an elementary school for the past six years. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Elementary Education as well as my Master's degree in Educational Administration, all three from the University of Cincinnati. My passion in education is to help every student succeed, to share their strengths, recognize their challenges and work hard to grow!
We are starting the year with some other new faces, including our new assistant principal, Erin Parker. Mrs. Parker served as the assistant principal at Amelia Elementary and Holly Hill Elementary last year and prior to that, taught in the New Richmond School District for 15 years in first and third grade. Mrs. Parker brings a wealth of insight and energy to our building with her drive to support students, families, and staff members in connecting and contributing to our learning community.
In our classrooms, we are excited to welcome Ms. Melissa Nesbitt as our new preschool teacher (pending board approval), Mrs. Jillian Everett is joining our kindergarten team and Ms. Taylor Allen as our new third-grade teacher. Additional support staff will be updated on our staff directory as they join the Brantner family.
