Brantner Updates

Dear Brantner Families,

I hope everyone has had a wonderful summer break and are enjoying these gorgeous summer days with family and friends! As we jump into August, there is excitement in the air filled with school supplies in the stores, questions about who your child’s homeroom teacher will be, and what friendships will be formed this year.  This time of year is always filled with a renewed sense of energy and anticipation of what this year will bring for all of us!

With the new year comes new faces around Brantner Elementary.  We have two new staff members to welcome to the Brantner Family this year:

Mrs. Basler is our new building secretary. Mrs. Basler comes to us from West Clermont Middle School where she was the Principal Secretary in the 2017-2018 school year.  Prior to that, she worked as a Project Manager focused in Marketing and Account Management for 10 years launching projects for Ethicon Endo-Surgery, United Healthcare, GE Aviation, Veritiv and more. Her passion is working with people and students in the community. She has 3 boys who attend WC schools and a 2-year-old daughter.  She is very much looking forward to working with the staff and families at Brantner Elementary.

We have also hired a new kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Shannon Flaherty.  Mrs. Flaherty wrote, “My name is Shannon Flaherty and I am excited to have the wonderful opportunity to work at Brantner Elementary School as a Kindergarten teacher this year. I have grown up in the Cincinnati area and stayed local, attending the University of Cincinnati for my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education. Alongside raising two young children, teaching has brought me many wonderful opportunities.  I’ve taught all day kindergarten for the past six years, with some experience in preschool and substitute teaching.”

There have been some additional changes in our staff with some teachers changing grade levels and buildings within our district that will be communicated as we assign students to homerooms.

Class Lists

Homeroom assignments will be sent out via email to parents early next week, the week of August 6 if you have your child’s information updated and registered in InfoSnap for the 2018-2019 school year.

If you are not sure how to register your child, you can find all of the steps on the West Clermont Website which includes all of the forms and documents you will need to complete the process.  If you need assistance with SnapCodes or the process, feel free to reach out to us at 513-943-6400 or email Mrs. Basler at Basler_A@westcler.org

Before we can place a child in a class list, they must be fully registered and so it is important to get this step taken care of right away.  Thank you to all of the families who are in the system and ready to go!

Supply Lists

Here is a printable version of our supply list. This is also available at all of the local stores. Happy Shopping!
