Dear Brantner Families,
Parents and teachers came together on Monday evening to talk about how your children are making progress, gain perspective to their overall well-being, and set goals forward. Having the opportunity to share your insight to your child and hear how they are growing in our classrooms is key to their overall success. Thank you to those who were able to attend on Monday. There is still time on Wednesday, November 14, 4:30PM to 8:00PM to sign up. You can schedule a conference with your child’s teacher here: https://www.ptcfast.com/schools/Brantner_Elementary_School.
We encourage all families to sign up to meet with your child’s teacher. If you have any questions, need help logging on or scheduling a conference, please reach out to our building secretary, Angela Basler, firstname.lastname@example.org, (513) 943-6400.
Thank you to our PTO parents who made us dinner on Tuesday night! The hospitality committee, led by Mrs. Chelsea Moeller, really did an amazing job creating a taco dinner for our staff that was much appreciated!!
PTO Fall Book Sale
On Monday, our students will be able to preview our annual fall book sale. A flyer came home this past week to start planning your purchases. Parents are welcome to attend on Tuesday evening as the book sale will be open during conference times as well, 4:30 - 8:00.
West Clermont School District News
As the West Clermont School District continues to be a district of choice and as our enrollment continues to grow, it has become necessary for us to move our elementary attendance boundaries so we can accommodate our current enrollment and our projected future growth. This district newsletter was shared with all parents across our West Clermont School District last week via email which includes this blog post from our Superintendent, Mrs. Natasha Adams. The information provided shares insight to the future of our elementary schools, including the closing of Brantner Elementary at the end of this school year. Many families have wondered, questioned, and talked about this potential for a number of years and as we get confirmation that this will be the last year at Brantner, there are questions we need to answer together. In Mrs. Adam's post, there is a link to frequently asked questions to reference as a starting point to understand the careful plans our district has made and will continue to make as we move forward.
We welcome your insight to how we celebrate the many years of Brantner Elementary and hope you can join our PTO meeting on Tuesday evening at 6:30 to share ideas and start making plans forward. We also have Brantner parent representatives serving on the Community Engagement Committee referenced in the newsletter linked above and an opportunity to share your voice in our district Thoughtexchange at https://my.thoughtexchange.com/#349291953.
If you have already added a thought in the Thoughtexchange, please go back in to rate the comments of others in the Thoughtexchange. This is a great way to engage in conversation and for the district to see any themes that begin to materialize.
We will monitor this Thoughtexchange regularly to gauge your feedback. Please keep in mind that any thoughts that are inappropriate, rude, or identify a person or group of people will be removed.
As a reminder, this Thoughtexchange will close at 11:59pm on Monday November 12th. Thank you for participating in helping us shape the future of our district!

On a personal note, the end of the week wrapped up with an incredible celebration of my birthday by our students and staff. I share this video so you can see all of the dedicated, amazing staff at Brantner who work hard with your children to inspire, connect, care, and celebrate one another and you can potentially hear your child's voice! It starts with our Cardinal talking by using the tool, Chatterpix, noted in last week’s update that Mrs. Kenney has shared with some of our students.
Thank you to all of the students at Brantner for being so kind and caring in who they are every day and thank you, parents, for sharing them with us! Thank you to Mrs. Basler, Mrs. Sheffey, and Mrs. Kenney for their hard work to pull the staff together like this to celebrate my birthday and one another. Thank you, Brantner Staff, for being so amazing to work for and with every day. I am truly blessed and honored to serve as the principal at Brantner Elementary!
