Ohio Achievement Assessments begin this week, and we encourage all parents to discuss these important assessments with their children. Throughout the school year, students have demonstrated academic growth and this is their chance to "show what they know".

During the week of testing please encourage your student(s) to:
• Eat a nutritious breakfast
• Get a good night's rest (screens and media should be turned off at least an hour before bed)
• Do their best on the test by answering all parts of the question
• Don't stress the test. We want students to do their best. Remind your child that the goal of these tests is to show individual growth and to improve from one year to the next.
Your child’s core teachers are currently collecting donations of granola bars, pop-tarts, bottled water and other items for breakfast on the mornings before the test. Please send any of these items in with your child if possible!
