Per district policy, students may not bring any medications to school. All medications, even over the counter, must have an AUTHORIZATION for MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION form completed by a physician and the parent. Students have been bringing medications to school to administer themselves. This can be a very dangerous situation if meds are not controlled properly. The form needed can be found on the district website or in the school office.
8th grade students:
Were you excited after the field trip to Live Oaks in November? Interested in learning more about a specific career field? Worried you’ll be bored this summer? If you answered YES to any of these questions, you should check out the Great Oaks Summer Camps being offered this June. For just $50 you’ll be able to attend a 5-day program and go in-depth to learn about career opportunities that are a lot of fun!

Calling all 5th-12th grade girls in STEM: Join us here at iSPACE Wednesday, April 5th, 6-8pm, as we take off into an evening filled with free hands-on experiences and an inflight dinner! Navigate to new heights as we discover the world of flight with special guest female pilots! Explore careers in aviation, uncover the mysteries of what's inside a pilot's bag, learn to read aeronautical maps and more! Space is limited and the event is FREE, but registration is required! Over and Out!
This event is generously sponsored by a grant from The Ninety-Nines. The Ninety-Nines is the international organization of women pilots that promotes advancement of aviation through education, scholarships, and mutual support while honoring our unique history and sharing our passion for flight.
Established in 1929 by 99 women pilots, the members of The Ninety-Nines, Inc., International Organization of Women Pilots, are represented in all areas of aviation today. And, to quote Amelia, fly "for the fun of it!"
