Homework help is Monday – Thursday until 3:15pm.  No permission slip needed

TRACK: Practice is every day after school with Mrs. Williams, 2:30 – 4:00pm. Meets this week: Friday, April 14 – at BETHEL – 4:00 pm  Thursday,  April 20 – at MAIREMONT – 4:00pm

3rd Annual WC Colorfun RUN: Our 3rd Annual West Clermont Colorfun Run will take place on the Amelia HS campus on April 22nd at 10:00am.  All are invited to participate and each participant will receive a Colorfun Run white t-shirt to run or walk through 5 different color stations!  Early bird registration for just $20 per participant has been extended through April 13th.  See the attached flyer for information on this exciting event! /userfiles/922/my files/colorfun run sign up final.pdf?id=8814

Immunization Requirements! Attention All 6th Grade Parents/Guardians All students entering the 7th grade in the fall of 2017 are required to show proof of receiving the Tdap and Meningicoccal (MCV4) vaccines BEFORE attending school. Please see the attached letter and form to be completed by your child’s physician. WC Marching Band: The West Clermont Marching Band is having open color guard clinics for any student interested in dancing and spinning flag with the marching band next fall. Don’t miss out on an opportunity to be part of marching band, the largest student activity at WCHS. Be part of the excitement, fun, and make friends! Clinics will be held on Thursday April 20th and 27th from 4-6pm in the Glen Este West Cafe. We hope to see you there!

5/19 ~ Red Carpet Farewell
5/20 ~ District sponsored Fun Run (Amelia to Glen Este)...
After the run there will be family activities at Glen Este which will include tours, slide shows, games, inflatables, food trucks, etc.

Red Carpet Farewell: As distinguished administrators and board members of the West Clermont Local School District you are cordially invited to attend a farewell dinner reception and fundraiser for the new West Clermont High School Performing Arts Department.

After more than 50 years of academic and theatrical excellence Glen Este High School will forever close it's doors to combine with Amelia High School and become West Clermont High School. As a spirited farewell we will be showcasing talented alumnae and staff members for a final show on the Performing Arts Center stage followed by a formal dinner at Norlyn Manor (4440 State Route 132, Batavia, OH 45103) on May 19th.  Thank you so much for being a part of West Clermont's history, now let's help build West Clermont's future.

April 25 – May 3 = AIR Math testing for all grades

May 4 = 8th grade AIR science test

May 5 = 6th grade AIR SS test

May 8 = 6-8 Band concert at 7pm

May 18 = 6th grade awards at 6:30pm; 7th grade awards at 7:30pm

May 19 = 8th grade only dance from 6-8pm

May 24 = 8th grade awards (teams Jade & Ruby at 6:00pm; team Emerald at 7:30pm)

Greetings from the My Energy Kit Challenge!: So far, Glen Este Middle School has requested 170 Energy Kits
and has saved 34,000 kWh of energy.  Our school receives $250 for every 100 or more kits requested! Families and staff can request their FREE Energy Kit and credit your school by going online to MyEnergyKit.org or by calling our hotline at 1-855-386-9548.

2017-2018 School Year Enrollment Information: It is that time of year again.  Central Enrollment will be sending our SnapCode letters via email soon.  We will also be starting the Open Enrollment and Intra-District Enrollment application acceptance period.  Please see additional information below.   

 2017-2018 Open Enrollment (Inter-District Enrollment)

  • Applications must be submitted for (inter-district) on the official school district enrollment website and submitted on-line to the West Clermont’s Central Enrollment Office.
  • Applications will be submitted electronically by parents/guardians starting May 1, 2017 and this application process will be open until June 15, 2017.
  • Application Approval- Requests will be acted upon - approval or denied by August 1st,with notification via letter from the Superintendent / School Principal.
  • Application approvals are on an annual basis and must be re-approved in accordance with the Open Enrollment Policy 5113.01 each year.  This includes a new application each year.  Failure to reapply may result in loss of Open Enrollment Seat. 
  • Approval of such transfers is contingent upon: building capacity and student teacher ratio numbers. 
  • Transportation will not be provided to students enrolled under Open Enrollment Status.

 2017-2018 Intra-District Enrollment (Building to Building K-5)

  • Applications must be submitted for (Building to Building) on the official school district enrollment website and submitted on-line to the West Clermont’s Central Enrollment Office.
  • Applications will be submitted electronically by parents/guardians starting May 1, 2017 and this application process will be open until June 15, 2017.
  • Application Approval- Requests will be acted upon - approval or denied by August 1, 2017 with notification via letter from the Superintendent / School Principal.
  • Application approvals are on an annual basis and must be re-approved in accordance with the Intra-District Enrollment Policy 5113 each year.  This includes a new application each year.  Failure to reapply may result in loss of Intra-District Enrollment Seat.

2017-2018 New Student Registration for West Clermont Students…

  • Go online to our Enrollment Webpage at www.westcler.k12.oh.us
  • Click on Departments and then Central Enrollment
  • Click on the 2017-2018 Enrollment link
  • Begin the registration process.  Once you have completed the online process, you will need to make an appointment with Veronica Weaver 
  • If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call our Central Office at 513-943-5042 or email at weaver_v@westcler.org.

 2017-2018 SNAPCODE Returning West Clermont Students…

  • Soon all RETURNING West Clermont Students will be emailed a SnapCode.  Once you receive your SnapCode you will follow the same procedure as last year.  You will need to go in and update any new information.
  • Please complete your SnapCode registration As Soon As Possible
  • Go online to our Enrollment Webpage at www.westcler.k12.oh.us
  • Click on Departments and then Central Enrollment
  • Click on 2017-2018 Student Verification
  • Complete your child’s SnapCode Process
  • Remember to hit the SUBMIT button when you have completed the process

What if I Do Not Have Access to a Computer or WI-FI at Home?

  • Visit the West Clermont Central Enrollment Office.  We are open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.  You do not need an appointment! Our staff will be there to help facilitate the process and answer your questions.
  • You can also stop by your school office for technology assistance.  Please call ahead. 
  • You can also use your local library for technology and Wi-Fi.
