All students in 12th grade in the fall of 2017, are required by Ohio school law to show proof of the following immunization BEFORE starting school:
• Meningococcal (MCV4) (to protect from Meningitis)
- If your student received a Meningitis vaccine before the age of 16years, a second dose is required for attendance in 12th grade.
- If your student will be receiving the first dose of the Meningitis (MCV4) and is now 16 years of age or older, only one dose is required for school attendance in the 12th grade.
Any 12th grade student who has not shown proof of receiving the vaccination will be excluded from school beginning on Monday October 2nd.
To help with this process our partners at Health Source Ohio will be holding clinic hours for any Senior at West Clermont High School to get their updated vaccine. The clinic hours will be held on Thursday September 14th from 5:00pm - 7:15pm in the Community Rooms at West Clermont High School. All students must complete and bring with them their drivers license or School ID and the Health Source Ohio registration packet linked below. If you have any questions please contact District Nurse Heather Burns at firstname.lastname@example.org.
