Immunization Requirements! Attention All 7th Grade Parents/Guardians: All students in the 7th grade are required to show proof of receiving the Tdap and Meningicoccal (MCV4) vaccines. Please see the letter and form on our website to be completed by your child’s physician. If you have any questions, please contact the health clinic at 947-7403. The WCMS PTO is now having their alternative fundraiser! Parents in the past have told us that they would much rather give a donation to the PTO and let the PTO receive 100% of the funds rather than sell/buy items that they really don’t want (candles, cookie dough, etc.) and the PTO only receive 40% of the money! WCMS uses a LMS (Learning Management System) call Schoology. Students can see their scores as soon as they submit most assignments so they can learn from their mistakes; Students can collaborate from home via the message board; No more lost papers- Students have access to ALL course materials 24 hours a day no matter where they are via the internet or the Schoology mobile app on a smartphone; No more confusion about due dates! Students can check due dates any time, and connect their email/smartphone/other digital calendaring devices directly to Schoology so they will know immediately if dates change! Parents will have access to all courses, groups and school updates, so you can stay in the loop about what is going on with your child and around school in real time. Students will be bringing home a letter next week with your unique parent access code. If you have any trouble or questions, please contact your child’s advisory teacher or the WCMS front office at 947-7400.

Attention 8th graders interested in going on the Washington D.C. trip. There will be an information meeting on Wednesday, September 20th in the PAC. Due to space, Parents/students on teams 8-1, 8-2 and 8-3 will have their meeting at 7:00pm and Parents/students on teams 8-4, 8-5, and 8-6 will meet at 7:45pm.
8th grade panoramic picture was taken this morning (September 8). Parents/students can still order a panoramic picture for $20 with the order form given to students until Friday, September 15.
Students interested in Art club need to fill out an application, have it signed by a parent or guardian and turn it into Mrs. Nicoloff. Only 40 members will be chosen on a first come first serve basis. Art club meets on Friday afternoons, twice a month. Applications are available in the office.

Homework Help Club is also starting September 25th as well on Monday through Thursday each week after school until 3:15. This club is for students who need help with homework assignments.

A Green Club introductory meeting will take place next Thursday September 14th. If your student is interested in joining this environmentally friendly group, the meeting will be from 2:15 to 3:15 in the South Cafeteria right after school for students.

Tomorrow, Saturday September 9th is the Cincy Kids 4 Kids Carnival at Union Township Veterans Memorial Park from 11am to 4pm. There are games, concessions and prizes all day long at retro-prices making the carnival a fun event for the whole family! Proceeds will benefit Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Shriners Burns Hospital, Fernside Center for Grieving Children, St. Joseph’s Orphanage, and other local children in need. The West Clermont Education Foundation will be holding a fun run that will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the West Clermont High School Track Field.
