Advisory
We have begun a new program, Thriving Learning Communities, at WCMS that offers both in-class and online lessons focused on your child’s strengths and development of social and emotional learning skills.  We are just getting started and have been exploring how our individual strengths can help us feel good about ourselves, strengthen friendships and reach our goals. Watch for tips and suggestions every couple of weeks on how you can team up with us as we work together to support the social, emotional, and academic growth of your child. For example, over the next few weeks it would be a great time for you to ask your child about his or her own strengths and how they are using them each day. Ask your child to teach you some of the “strengths language” they are beginning to learn. We are excited about taking a strengths-based approach with your child this school year. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
