WCMS Technology Use Policy
Please talk with your child(ren) and remind them of the technology use policy of the One to Wolf program. The chrome books have been provided to the students for educational use only. They should be using the chrome books both at school and at home for school work, research projects, assignments and/or to practice educational skills such as mathematics, informational text reading, vocabulary, etc. They should not be using the chrome books for entertainment purposes such as listening to music on Spotify, watching videos on Youtube, communicating in online chat rooms, etc. The UA (User Agreement) of the WCLSD states “Use of the Internet is to be related to one or more courses of study and is not to be used by staff or students for discriminatory or unlawful purposes. Because of the vast amount of information that can be retrieved from the Internet teachers are responsible for training students to use proper research skills when retrieving information.” Please consider having your child charge and use their chrome book in a common area such as the kitchen or dining room (not in their room).
