
Dr. Mary Ellen Steele-Pierce
Seeking positive change for 21st century students, Dr. Mary Ellen Steele-Pierce has been West Clermont’s assistant superintendent for teaching and learning since 1999. She has 29 years experience in public education. She holds her BA in English, her MEd in administration, and her PhD in leadership and change.
She is responsible for the instructional program for the district’s 9000 students. Her areas of expertise are implementation of school improvement plans, adult learning & professional development, instructional leadership, and technology & Web 2.0. Dr. Steele-Pierce has presented locally and nationally.
Her children are Glen Este grads and her granddaughter attends Glen Este Middle School.
