Daniel Krueger was elected to the Board in November 2007. A 30-year resident of Amelia, Krueger taught choir at Glen Este High School from 1975-2005, where he directed four choirs, the high school musical, high school show choir “Counterpoint” and served as Music Department Chairperson as well as the Director of the Glen Este Performing Arts Center. His wife is director of special education at Goshen Local Schools, and they have two children. Dan is currently serving as president of the board.

Jo Ann Beamer, a lifelong resident of West Clermont, has had the privilege of representing our community as an elected member of the West Clermont School Board for 28 years. Mrs. Beamer's educational expertise was built during her 40-year career as a teacher and elementary school principal in CNE, Wyoming, and West Clermont School Districts. Her tenure as Board President, Vice President, and member of many other committees during the past two decades continues to inform her decisions. Her five grandchildren are third-generation graduates from West Clermont Schools. Jo Ann is currently serving as vice-president of the board.

Barbara Hartman has shared her expertise as a professional educator, business woman and parent during her 29 years as a Board member. She has served in various capacities and is currently a member of both the policy and facilities committees. Mrs. Hartman also represents West Clermont as a member of the Great Oaks Institute of Technology and Career Development School Board. Her three children and four grandchildren have all received a quality education from West Clermont Schools.

Denise Smith Denise Smith was elected to the board in November 2009. A native of Cleveland, she and her husband, Patrick, have lived in the West Clermont area for the past 30 years. She has two adult children who received excellent educations from the West Clermont Schools. A Speech-Language Pathologist employed by Hamilton County Educational Service Center, Mrs. Smith has been an educator for the past 32 years. She is a member of several professional organizations and committees, and has volunteered extensively in the West Clermont Schools and the community for many years. Mrs. Smith hopes that her experiences as an educator, volunteer, and parent will give her the necessary insight and knowledge to be a productive and effective board member.

Doug Young was elected to the board in November 2005. He is a life-long resident of the district and a graduate of Amelia High School. Since graduation, he has remained involved in the school district in different capacities. He has coached in the district for 11 years, both for the baseball and football teams, and he has served on various district committees. He is married and has three children.
