Listening Sessions
If you plan to attend or are considering attending this week's Listening Sessions, here's what to expect:
Each session each will be one hour and will be led by Kathy LaSota from the Ohio School Boards Association. Each will begin with an overview by Mrs. LaSota of the community survey, and will move to tabletop discussions to allow all participants a chance to be heard within the hour. Participants will be posed three questions:
1. What are ways the current school system is different from what you expect or desire for this community?
2. What are the most important aspects of our current system that should be preserved at all costs?
3. What additional information does the board need in order to move this district forward?
All comments will be scribed. Following the tabletop discussions, the small groups will report to the whole group. Community members will also have the opportunity to submit any additional comments and questions in writing as well.
