Excellent With Distinction!
The official State of Ohio Report Cards have been posted. The West Clermont Local School District has received the highest rating - EXCELLENT with DISTINCTION! The great news continues. Five of our schools also received EXCELLENT with DISTINCTION ratings – Amelia Middle School – Glen Este Middle School – Amelia Elementary – Clough Pike Elementary and Merwin Elementary.
Holly Hill, Summerside and Withamsville Tobasco Elementary schools and Amelia and Glen Este High all received an EXCELLENT rating. Brantner and Willowville received EFFECTIVE ratings.

New Assessments for Grades 8 & 9 this year:
• The Explore ® test will be administered to all 8th grade students on September 28, 2010. The results of this assessment help in the planning of high school courses, preparing for the ACT ® and in choosing a career direction.
• The Plan ® test will be administered to all 9th grade students on October 5, 2010. The results of this assessment support students, parents and teachers as they plan for the ACT ® and for college and career opportunities beyond high school.

August Extended Enrollment Hours
West Clermont's Central Enrollment department will schedule appointments until 5:45 p.m. on August 11, 18 and 25 and September 1. Enrollments are by appointment only. Call 943-5000 to schedule an appointment or 943-5042 for more information on the enrollment process.

West Clermont Central Enrollment
In order to provide parents with an enrollment process that is as quick and simple as possible, West Clermont Local Schools recently created a new Central Enrollment Center. Located in the district office of the West Clermont Local School District at 4350 Aicholtz Road, the Central Enrollment Center provides one stop enrollment for students entering preschool through the 12th grade. Glen Este High School named a "Best High School"
Glen Este High School was recently named as one of the top 30 local schools by Cincinnati Magazine. The yearly ranking examines schools in the Greater Cincinnati Region and ranks them according to excellence in several categories. Glen Este was chosen this year based on outstanding achievements made in the area of special education.
