Social Media Alert

Parents, please be aware that a new “challenge” is circulating around on social media (Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat, etc.)  This challenge is the “Salt – Ice” Challenge (not to be confused with the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge).  This challenge dares individuals to put salt on one end of an ice cube and put it on their skin. This results in frostbite, and the longer you hold the ice on your skin, the more intense the burn will be.  Please talk to your child about the dangers of doing this challenge!

Marco's Pizza-GEMS Advisory Challenge!

Tuesday, March 3, is the next Marco’s Pizza-GEMS Advisory Challenge!

The Advisory teacher with the highest individual total wins a free Pizza Lunch for that class!

Plus, Glen Este Middle School will receive a kickback of 15% of the order when you order Marco’s Pizza (dine-in, carry-out, or delivery).

Here's how: When ordering, just mention the name of your Advisory teacher. You can even use your existing coupons or take advantage of the Daily Specials. Marco’s will tally the total for all the Advisory teachers and send Glen Este Middle School a check for 15% of that total.

Please mark your calendar and encourage your friends and neighbors to join our cause. Need coupons to get started? See the attached flyer for challenge details and some great savings!
