Large turnout for Friday's game expected

A message from Superintendent Kline:

Since this is the last football game between Glen Este and Amelia, we anticipate a very large turnout for the event. In order to accommodate as many fans as possible

Glen Este, Amelia high schools celebrate rich tradition.

The West Clermont tradition known as the “Bell Game,” is scheduled for Friday Aug. 28.

I strongly encourage you to let your child take the bus to school if they live inside Clough’s boundaries. I am highly stressed by the number of potential car riders. If you are going to drive your child to school, you need to enter on the east side of our lot and park somewhere to the right. I will be out there early tomorrow to help. Parents are expected to park and walk their child to the upper grades playground and supervise them until the door opens at 8:15. Parents are not allowed to enter the building in the morning.  Car riders will need to be here at school by 8:05 in the morning so that you have time to park. Parents are not just dropping off students this year.  I’m worried that the line to park is going to go back towards the end of our turnaround. I want students to be waiting in the playground area when that side door opens at 8:15. This will allow us to get teaching in a more efficient manner.

Mercy Health, Midtown Health partner with West Clermont Schools to bring HealthPlex to area

“We are extremely pleased that our district is able to partner with Mercy Health and Midtown Health to provide these facilities at no additional cost to taxpayers,” said West Clermont Board President John Bantjes. “We have intended this new high school to be community centered since its inception in January. This project will clearly increase the community’s access to school facilities and enhance the quality of life for everyone.”

Changes made to transportation services for 2015-16

All students in grades Preschool - eight will receive transportation services, within their assigned attendance areas, to and from school in 2015-16. High School students may register for the pay to shuttle system with Petermann Transportation. Since we are serving many more students, we had to make some modifications to the transportation protocol.
