Mrs. Testa's 5th Grade Science Class

The 5th grade Science students at Clough Pike Elementary have been busy with hands on learning.

Dear Families of Clough Pike Elementary students,

This week your student(s) will be bringing home a flyer for a Jump Rope for Heart Program. This is a fantastic program put on by the American Heart Association in an effort to educate the public about heart disease and heart health.  There are two different portions to this program. Students will be participating in a Jump Rope for Heart (JRFH) Event here at Clough Pike scheduled for February 20, 2015. The event will be held in the gym. Students will be rotating through three stations involving all three of the specials areas – PE, Art, and Music. Mr. Conklin (Art) and Mr. Endres (Music) will also be participating with us. Parents are welcome to join us here at the school on that day for the event.

The schedule for Feb. 20:

8:30 – 9:30 AM – 5th grade

9:35 – 10:35 AM – 2nd grade

10:40 – 11:40 AM – 1st grade

12:30 – 1:30 PM – 4th grade

1:35 – 2:35 PM – 3rd grade

If your child is going to be absent or even late to school, please call the attendance line at 943-6704 and leave us a message about the absence.  This is a 24 hour line, so you can call us any time day or night.  There is also a link on our webpage "Absence Reporting" where you can email us an absence as well.
