Public Input on IDEA Federal Grant Funds

IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) federal grant funds support special education services for school aged children in Ohio. West Clermont Schools will offer the opportunity for public input on the use of these funds during a meeting from 2-2:30pm, June 25th, at the District Office. The district office is located at 4350 Aicholtz Road Cincinnati 45245.

Michele Delaney Appointed to the West Clermont Board of Education

At its regular meeting on Monday, June 10, 2019, the West Clermont Board of
Education voted to appoint Michele Delaney as the replacement to fill the unexpired term for
Denise Smith on the Board of Education.

Delaney has been an active member of the West Clermont community for 20 years and both of
her children attended and graduated from West Clermont schools. She has held leadership
positions at the elementary, middle, and high school levels and was recognized in 2016 as an
Orpha Gatch Award Nominee for Outstanding Woman Volunteer in Clermont County. Most
recently, she has served as the President of the West Clermont High School (WCHS) Athletic
Boosters and has been active in the WCHS Parent Teacher Student Organization.

New West Clermont Middle School Principal

Mr. Ross Hudson has been selected as the new principal of West Clermont Middle School.  Ross is known as a sharp educational leader and is one who spends time building relationships throughout the school community.

Hudson who just completed his 20th year as an educator, most recently was the Assistant Principal at West Clermont High School.  He has also served as an administrator in the district at Amelia Middle School, and Amelia High School.  He is replacing Lori Crowe who announced earlier this spring that she will be taking on a new role at the Mayerson Academy in Cincinnati.

West Clermont Wolf Pup Preschool

The lottery application for the West Clermont Wolf Pup Preschool enrollment is now closed.  If you are interested in being placed on a waitlist for the 2019-2020 school year, please contact Sara Jane Hutcherson at 943-5032.
